The first update for FIFA 18 since its launch is now available for download. The size is roughly 1.2GB on the PS4 and 1.45GB on the Xbox One. You can download patch 1.03 from the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live. The release of the console update comes only a few days after the release of the patch for PC .
One of the biggest changes in this patch is the activation of the opponent indicators in online games. Players can now recognize which player their online opponent is controlling, for which the community shares a difference of opinion.
This update brings several changes to the gameplay as well. According to the developers, patch 1.03 brings adjustments of the goalkeeper reactions in certain situations, adjustments of the difficulty level for amateur and semi-pro and reduces the shot accuracy.
The story mode of FIFA 18, titled The Journey, has also received updates with added icons in video sequences to display the actions triggered by the player. In addition, a bug was removed, which could crash the game during a video sequence in chapter 5.
As for the career mode, it’s had an additional option added to it which allow the player to delegate contract extensions. The patch also fixes a problem which prevented the newsfeed from being updated.
